  1. Good Morning. I am scheduled for 11-14 and I too am anxious about giving up life as I know it now but I am ready for nice looking clothes rather than food. I deserve this at this time of my life and I'm taking it. I am being banded in Mexico so will have to find a fill Doc. here in Texas which is not easy...but will be worth it. good luck and keep in touch.
  2. Hi Lauren, We do have a November Banders Tag Line started. It is Nortorious Novembers. when are you scheduled? I am set for Nov. 14 and I am ready. The waiting is driving me crazy. Good luck..
  3. that is so great. I get banded in Nov. and that is about the amount I need to lose. I will try to hit my goal in 5-6 mo. encouraging to hear about your success. good luck with diabetes...u can do it!
  4. I Am being banded in Mexico in Nov. and had to find a FillDoc 120 miles from my home..People seem to post so many problems and when the Dr. soing your surgery is not your Dr after surgery is kind of scary. I am going to Mex. because I don't have 100 lbs to lose and can't get it done here. I am excited but so hope I don't have complications I read about...any regrets??
  5. Do you know if Crystal Light is okay to drink Post-op...?
  6. I am not banded yet but I am 61 yrs. old. Do you think it is harder on older people? I just don't want to ruin my health. Do you ever regret doing it? I am scheduled in Nov...thanks
  7. nothing taste as good as skinny feels!!!
  8. Hi, I am scheduled for banding in Nov. and I can't wait. I take several prescription medications and was wondering how hard it is to swallow pills and use very little water. Guess I'll have to give up swallowing all 7 at a time. I am 61 yrs old and don't want to spend the rest of my life fighting the weight...any regrets out there?
