  1. Hello All. I live in Freeport in Nasasu Cty. I'm just starting out.. looking at Dr. Geiss. I need to call the office to see if they take my insurance and other questions I have.
  2. I live in Long Island, Nassau Cty. I wouldn't mind doing the city really, but if I can get someone closer to home, that would work better for me. I won't rule it out though, I'm seeing really good things about the NYU docs also.
  3. I say go for it. I have a friend who does this kind of photography, and one of these days I'll ask him about doing a shoot for me. And he's very respectful, and works with whatever you're comfortable with--sexy lingerie, cleavage/revealing clothes, and I think he even does full nudity. I wouldn't do THAT, but I would totally rock on some tasteful lingerie and sexy clothes and heels.
  4. I'm almost 32, and I think it's true that women reach it in their 30s, because I am hornier than EVER.:tt2:
  5. I have heard that anesthesia can mess with hair as well, and that as your sytem gets rid of it, the hair does too. I think that might be in more extreme cases, and of course everyone is different. Like someone said up there, I can always rock a weave if I need to lol.
  6. I mentioned wanting to do this a while back. My Brother in law had a LOT to say about it, but then he has a lot to say about everything. Something to say about every subject, but knows little about basic social stuff. *rolleyes My mother will be supportive, I'm sure, and I'll tell my sisters. I'm going to keep it a little hush hush from some other people until I get into it more, have definitely app'ments, etc. My best friend is supportive. When I mentioned it to another friend a while back, she too took a bit of a negative stance against it, so I won't say anything to her yet either.
  7. I've been looking in the forums and such for info, and my head is spinning. I'm looking at doctors so far. I'm seeing Dr. Garber and Dr. Geiss coming up. I'm going to be going to my doc on Sunday so I can get the ball rolling. I'll get my referral then I guess. I'm going to call both Dr. offices later today to get some basic info.
  8. i'm in NY, single, but not banded yet. Just beginning this journey. I just got on here today, looking up info and everything.
  9. 1.) Who's you're insurance company? Aetna 2.) What state do you live in? NY 3.) Was your plan provided by your employer or do you pay for it out of your own pocket? Employer provided 4.) Are you banded yet, waiting for approval, denied...etc? Haven't started yet..looking around, getting all my info together, etc.
  10. Hi.. Most people call me Coco, so here I am. Almost 32, and at a weight that I am frightened and disgusted by. I really want to do this. I was recommended by zeama. I've seen some of her pics and she is looking great. I hope to get that feeling soon too. I'm at a point where if I didn't ahve to work outside the home, I don't think I'd leave my house, that's how ashamed I am. :tt2: But this will be my move to change those feelings.
