  3. Hello Everyone, This is my 3rd week post-op and I've finally switched to soft foods!! However, I have gained 2 pounds. I'm still only having around 2 oz of food per meal. The only new items I've added are shredded chicken and low fat string cheese. Someone please tell me this is normal. I'm eating enough to gain 2 pounds but not enough to have a bm, what the heck!

  6. I just had gastric sleeve done on 4/11. I was a little nervous leading up to it but now I look back and can't believe it is already all done!! You will feel so much better in about a week - don't worry, you got this!!!!!

  8. I cut up an apple put it my Ninja blender and basically made my own applesauce - wow, it actually came out really good!! Thanks for the great idea!
  9. I have been feeling fine, just one spot on the right side of my tummy is sore if I lay on it for too long. I have been REALLY struggling with trying to meet my liquid and protein goals though. I am a very picky eater. I tried about a month or so before surgery to find protein drinks that I could stand (I HATE milk!!!). I found a few but now I really don't like them either. I've started my puree part of my diet and found out that I still do not like eggs, cream of wheat, or tofu. I've been trying to disguise my protein powder in my applesauce and yogurt. Did you find a way to sneak in more liquid? Between not having it 30 minutes before you eat and after you eat five times a day really limits the amount of time you have! I don't think I'm awake enough hours in the day

  12. I’m 6 days post op and have had this horrible tar-like poop for 3 days! It doesn’t hurt, but I feel like I’m going to run out of toilet paper soon if you catch my drift! I’m assuming it’s my body getting rid of what ever they pumped into me. Anyone else experience this?
