Hello,I too am a banded, and I think I'm going for a SLeeve, but I can't find any long time sleever, to see the results....I know that in the beginning the sleeve will work, but I'm so afraid for the long term results....The same thing happened with the band, when i got it, it seemed as the best solution, and now I am very dissapointed on it...or me...I don't know... SO, I'm wondering, do you know any long time sleever?And do u know any bad result? I can't seem to find anywhere this answer. thanks

thank u for your answer. my surgeon gave me some rules, but I really think they are not enough for the importance of the surgery, that's why I thought that maybe a list of rules is posted on the forum. thank you anyway.

hello there, I got banded in Romania. Anyone else from this country?

hello, I'm from Romania, and talking to my doctor, I found out that many people from US come to romania to ged banded. The reason for this is that is much.... much cheaper, and the quality is way greater than in Mexic. I plan to get banded in two weeks, and I was wondering if anyone can share me his/her experience. I planned for a long time to have the surgery, but i had no time to do it, and I didn't find the right doctor, but now, I can't wait to be in the lucky club......So, keep your fingers crossed for me.....This week I have one more exam at school, and then go straight at the hospital.....CAn anyone tell me if I should expect some pain after the surgery? My biggest fear is about HEARTBURN!!!! because I already have this problem, I'm afraid that it will worsen. Have u had any bad experience with this? Thanks for "listening">>>

so wich band should I ask my doctor to put? the standard one, or the VG ? I will be banded next month, and I didn't disscuss this with my doctor yet.

hello, I have a question about heartburn: is it something that you get used to, or it will go away in time? I hope to get banded next month, and stomach problems is my main concern. are you feeling very ill after the surgery?

hello Bella, if you asked for my opinion, go for the la-band, i also want to have it, i hope in the next weeks i will be a new lap-banded. I think the lap-band is more secure than the gastric by-pass, and don-t worry about not loosing weight, i think with the minimum effort, we will loose weight.better have some walks in the park, than risking your life, because in the gastric by-pass, the risks are bigger, an the operation is irreversible......compared to the lap-band, which you can remove any time.
