I might be in the “September surgery” crew ?? it seem so far away lol. I have my last appt with surgeon on 8/23 and at that time he will give my surgery date (hopefully). I wish everyone success and I will follow this thread

Im so happy for you and that date is right around the corner! I have my last appointment tomorrow 7/11 and then I will get my surgery date . I’m hoping and praying for a August surgery date ??

Yikes I plan to have my surgery in August and need to follow this thread ? since this might happen to me too. I had a c section back in 2014. When did you all have your c section?

Congrats on your surgery. Are you weighing yourself daily? They pump you up with gas and liquids therefore the scale isn’t really accurate the first week. Good luck on your journey and try to stay off the scale until your first follow up appointment with your dr?

I so wish ? my surgery is scheduled for July but my coordinator said most likely the end of August! My last pre op appointment is 6/21/23…. Good luck to all the July surgery peeps ???

I am preop and going thru Kaiser (I also work for Kaiser) now but was never tested for nicotine, drugs or alcohol so far. Did you mention to your doctors that you’ve done drugs, nicotine or alcohol in the past?

Welcome to the forum! I am getting close to the end of the process and each insurance company is different. My insurance requires 6 months and I am with Kaiser Washington and this was my process: - Had a provider seminar in January - Spoke with surgeon in January - Completed my lab testing/EKG in January - Schedule all my 6 nutritional visits 4 weeks apart - My EGD was in April - My psych evaluation is in May - My last nutrition class is 6/21 - hopefully I can have surgery in July or August Good luck on your journey ??

Just completed ✔️ my EGD and everything look good. Onto my 2nd nutritional visit on 4/19 ?

Do a search for “May 2023 surgeries” and you will find a few people that plan on having their surgery in May. Good luck and make sure you keep us posted on your progress ???
