Hey y'all I have a wonderful husband and support system. He took me, waited until I was out of surgery. I had my procedure late in the day so I spent the night, he went to our hotel. He picked me up, took very good care of me and has continued to, all while working full time, and remodeling our kitchen. The great thing is he is going to get the VSG next month, so we are supporting each other! We told our children that we are doing this together and they are very supportive as well. Today was the 7th day, it was not a good day, I could not force down more than one protein shake. I spent most of the day watching movies and fighting off the urge to vomit. I pray tomorrow will be better. Tomorrow is my last day on full liquids, I can go to pureed/soft foods Thursday. I really don't care for these sicking sweet protein drinks, and water flavorings. Surgery on Sep 13th not much pain, but I'm having a problem drinking these protein shakes, they are gagging me. And I'm experiencing a lot of lightheadedness when I stand up.
