  11. Never hungry, but either don't eat or reach back to old bad habits for snacking. Any advice? I think I'll do the 5 day pouch reset. Anyone else with similar situation? Please respond. Sent from my LM-T600 using BariatricPal mobile app
  12. After my new spinal cord stimulator implant and getting the go ahead to exercise, I'm in a better headspace to do what's right! The stress of my back issues, not being able to exercise put me in a terrible spot. I'm getting it together and will be doing my protein shakes and/or eating my protein first, vegetables if I can get them in and go back to making my snacks fruit, sugar free popsicles...! Thank you so much! Blessings! Sent from my LM-T600 using BariatricPal mobile app
  13. Thank you for your response. Gonna figure it out, I know it's from stress and my back problems. Hopefully with my new spinal cord stimulator and the go ahead to exercise, getting back to some normalcy and being more mobile, I'll be back on track! Weight gain

Thank you for the advice. I've been on my back due to two more back surgeries this year. Just got the clearance to start exercising again, and I know my bad habits stem from inactivity and boredom. Still think I want to try the reset to get me back where I was, mindful eating and, getting my 64oz of fluid and exercising. Feel much better after getting clearance from doctor, and still have to rehab on walking without my cane. So I'm excited to start this journey! Sent from my LM-T600 using BariatricPal mobile app

    Weight gain

Thank you for your response! I had the RNY, stated at 265, went down to 170 and now at hover between 194 and 196. So actually a gain of 24/26lbs varies from day to day. Sent from my LM-T600 using BariatricPal mobile app
  19. Hi there! I'm New here and very excited to be here! Congrats on recognizing your pitfalls. I too am in a similar place, RNY December,2019. Loss 100 lbs, to date I've gained back 30. I've stopped beating myself up and taking myself more seriously about why I had the surgery and looking at my pitfalls, which are potato chips! With that being said I am now eating a little better, I still have trouble getting in a lot of food. So I try to start each morning with my protein shake and with that I'm usually full for the day and it gives me anywhere from 65 to 75 grams of protein. I've been trying to incorporate another protein, which is difficult for me because I'm not hungry, I never hungry. So I try to have a little chicken, turkey, or some other protein. I love now to eat a lot of vegetables, salads, and fruits which I now try to substitute these for the chips! I'm also getting ready to start exercising on a daily basis. With that being said, this is a journey, lifelong journey, lifestyle change that will greatly improve my life. And because I love living and being with family and exploring new things I feel more determined than ever to embark on this journey! So again congrats to you on recognizing where you are and what you have to do and blessings and success to you on this journey to improve your health, your life! 20. Congrats to you, you're doing that thing! I too noticed a weight gain after 2yrs RNY, was down but now getting my life back with exercise and more mindful eating! Congrats again! Sent from my LM-T600 using BariatricPal mobile app

    **Weight REGAIN**

You are so not alone. This is a tough lifestyle change- for the better. You've done great, know you can achieve your goals and may have stalls,setbacks,... but get back up and reassess what you're doing differently. I'm not perfect no one is and we have to keep trying to get better everyday. My fav snack of chips is really improving because I try substituting things that occupy my mind and body,ie doing my hair, nails, long leisurely soaks, exercise,... sometimes it doesn't work, but I've stopped beating myself up because of the accomplishments I have made. This forum is great with great ppl. So I would suggest to keep reaching out here, find a pcp, social wkr., or someone in your surrounding community with experience to assist you in meeting your goals. You can do it, I can do it and we will meet and surpass our goal(s) and move on to the next thing because it's called living our best life! Blessings ❤
  22. I have trouble eating! I do my protein shakes almost every day and then that's enough for me. Unfortunately when I get stressed or bored I pick up potato chips, grapes, or I do have a healthy salad. I find potato chips to be my downfall so I'm trying very hard to stay away from those. But I think my main problem is I'm not getting enough protein in and that maybe why my weight has gone from 265 in 2019 to 170 lb April 21st of last year to now 198 lb! So I am depressed about it but I'm trying to do something about it and want to do a reset after I do this colonoscopy! Any remarks, suggestions, would be greatly appreciated as I want to get back to 170 and even below that my goal is between 140 and 150 I'm 5 ft 4 in. I'm also about to undergo another procedure for my back having a spinal cord stimulator implanted this procedure will mean I have undergone at least 12 back procedures / surgeries since 2015 so I'm in a lot of pain but implementing exercise as I can.
