  1. 5.1 is pretty darn good. It's below what is considered pre-diabetic. As with anything there is always room for improvement.
  2. Good luck and well wishes to all. Just finished last appointment with GP. Meet with surgeon tomorrow for final instructions and words of wisdom.
  3. I don't think I'll have any regrets, I think it's just jitters as you say. It's taken 7 months to get this far. The horse just looks bigger as you get closer. Thanks for the well wishes.
  4. Officially scheduled for December 5th. Reality is starting to set in. This is going to happen. Starting to second guess.
  5. Dec 5 for me as well. Not started liquid diet yet.
  6. As Spartan said, I too got a little worried when you dropped off for a bit. Work will still be there when you decide to go back. I'm scheduled for Dec 5. Plan to take the week and "work" from home for the rest of the month.
  7. Protein2o - the strawberry/watermelon flavor is pretty good. Not overly sweet or syrupy tasting.
  8. December 5th for me. Hoping for a great start to the new year. Good Luck all
  9. I'm 66 and tired of taking meds for diabetes, high blood pressure (that never seems to go down) and thyroid issues brought on by the various meds for diabetes. I'm a 35 BMI , so on the low end but assorted diets and exercise never seemed to work. Hoping that the sleeve helps reduce the weight (245) and allows me to possibly drop some if not all of my meds.
  10. As another Nebraskan, I wish you good luck. I just finished all my hoops and an waiting for approval/scheduling. Your story and perseverance are truly inspiring.
  11. Anyone here recently from Omaha? Planning on sleeve with Dr White at Methodist in the next couple of months.
