    Follow up with nutritionist happens 1 week after surgery, a month after that, and then one more visit in another month. They seem conservative compared to some - liquid diet for a week then mushies for a month. No fill until 9 weeks after surgery. Thought Dr Tran and Dr Halmi were both great! Stay in the hospital as long as you can. It's nice to have people taking care of you!

    I am hoping to have surgery soon with either Dr Tran or Dr Halmi. However, I haven't seen a general practioner in years!! Does anyone have any recommendations of a doctor in the Reston/Fairfax/Sterling areas who is supportive of weight loss surgery? My last doctor was a real jerk about my weight which is the main reason I haven't been in so many years!
