  2. Hi, I'm in SD also. I'm not sure what the slang is. I had my banding done about 5 yrs ago at Scripps Clinic. Lost almost 100 pounds. Still some to go but not too worried about it. Good luck and keep the faith. It does happen although slowly. Did the doctor tell you to stay away from any over the counter pain med?
  3. Hi, My name is Judie. I was banded about 6 years ago and successfully lost 85 pounds. I still need to lose some weight but the older I get the harder it is. My question now is does anyone know what over the counter or prescription drugs for pain should not be taken after surgery? I now have a hip problem and have been taking tylenol but I do have motrin also. I just don't remember what the rule is on these kinds of meds. Help if you know.:tt2:
