hi im from uk buckinghamshire i was banded on 23 may this year my surgeon was my beckingham in nottingham hospital group

could some body tell me how do the docs know how much to fill i went for my first fill 3 weeks ago i am going back next week for my second fill my first they put 1,5ml i seem to be eating more for dinner tonight i had jacket pot topped with tune sweetcorn mayo and baked beans with 2 slices of corned beef and i ate it all do you think thats alot in one meal and do you think its to soon for another fill

hi i had my band on 23 may (2 months )ago this past week all i do is want to eat i dont seem to have the band to stop me from eating im just picking all the time please give me some answers:mad::help::hungry::tea::faint:

hi lovechunks the same happened to me i had my lap band surgery on 23 may this year 2 dats later i started to get pain in my pelvis area but just thought it would go away i even had my coil taken out but pain still kept comeing and going . i went to nottingham to have my first fill the doctor took xrays while he was flushing water through my port to clean the band but it wasent going through it was leaking they told me to take my xrays back to the surgeon who done my op dr beckingham he looked at them and made a surgery date a week later i went back to hospital on the 17 july the tube had come away he said he put them back together it been a week now my incishions have healed now he use two of the insitions from before i now am going to have my first fill this friday 28 july so hopefully i can start getting some results from this band ive lost a stone (14 pounds)since having band but scales havent moved since you will be ok so dont worry all the best x

hi sonirose im going to see surgeon in nottingham on tuesday 11 july to show him my x rays i paid for my surgery £7,950 so i wont be paying any more for him to fix his mistake i hope to get a surgery date cant wait to start seeing results

i had my band on the 23rd may this year every went great .i went for my first fill under xray BUT when the doc went to fill they noticed the tube from the port was leaking plus the some object from the port has come away and is lying in my pelvis area Afteri had the band 2 days later i was getting electric shock like feelings down below i thought it was my coil so i had it taken out but i was still getting pains now and again ive never had these feelings before . any hospital phoned the other hospital where i had the operation this all happened a week ago today im waiting for a clinic date so i can show my surgeon the xrays i paid for this op and im very dissapointed but at least i know now why im getting this pain i live in england and was banded in nottingham with dr beckingham :cry

hi please could someone tell me .I have a 4cc band i hanent had a fill yet but how much fill would be enough for the sweet spot

can sone body tell me whan u have a fill and get restriction what does it feel like does it mean u just get fuller quicker

hi i was banded a weekago every thing went ok but since being banded i havent been to the toilet ive been getting cramps and a stich on the left hand side down below is this normal i dont even get the urge to go does anyone else have this problem:cry :help:

hievery one i was banded on 23 may 06 still very bruised dont seem to have that much energy is that down to eating less food a fewdays was on liquid but now a little food i make a sandwich and only eat half of it not really enjoying what i am eating to scared to eat to quick

im married to a turkish man and have lived in turkey where they all ways take there shoes off we live in england now and we have all ways taken our shoes off u dont know what yous treading on out side i think its a good thing and clean your carpets are cleaner longer VERY HYGENIC ps im english by the way
