  1. I am not tracking calories right now as I just started pureed a week ago and I can barely eat 2 oz a day twice a day. But it can't hurt to start tracking. Also, I still struggle to get all of my water in but am working on it. Will definitely be talking to my doctor and dietician.
  2. yeah no way can I consume that :). Thank you! I will talk to my doctor and dietician maybe I am retaining.
  3. Hi everyone, So just want some feedback as I weighed in today and started pureed food 1 week ago. I have 6.2lbs back of the 11lbs I lost the first 2 weeks. Is this normal? Am I doing something wrong? As anyone else experienced this?
  4. So my date got pushed back from August 3rd to August 31st. I was annoyed at first but really its ok. I can not wait for this to happen.
  5. Thanks for the reply. Post poning isn't an option. My time off of work not to mention my sisters time off of work to drive me. Too much to reschedule. I will fight it out. I was going to get 0 nicotine vape but was told that was also not allowed.
  6. Yes all of g. Hughs I believe is a sugar free brand.
  7. Try G. Hughs BBQ sauce or any of his sauces so good!!
  8. I wonder if you have to continuously use it like you do Rogaine. Once you stop Rogaine you will lose the hair it helped you grow back.
  9. So after 3 long weeks of being on 2 meal replacements and 1 lunch the surgeon has now put me on 3 meal replacements and 0 food. Also, had to quit smoking well in my case vaping. How miserable!!! Has anyone else had to do anything similar? Also, I messed up a few times and smoked. Is that going to matter? Literally the hardest thing I have ever done.
  10. Hey everyone! August surgery buddies .... 33 years old and as you can see all my weights stats. Surgery was schedule for the 3rd of August. I am a self paying patient going to Huntsville, Alabama. I wish this would have been an option sooner in my life. I rarely see anyone on here even close to my SW. Anyways, I originally was going to go to Mexico, however, even though it was about half the price I decided to stay in the states. It is very nice to meet you all and hopefully we can make connections and keep chatting. I work 3rd shift so I tend to reply and be on in the middle of the night.
  11. Random Before photo (before pre-op diet), a weight loss surgery photo album by AmbiiNicole on BariatricPal. 3 photos in Before and After Gastric Sleeve...
  12. Thank you so much for the tips. I had no idea about pickles since the jar said 0 calories. But I've only been eating 3 or 4 pickle spears a day. I will cut that out. There are soups offered on the bariatric advantage website that they had me get my shakes from. Do I have to look at the labeling or are they all similar to shakes?
  13. So the surgeon has mean on a bariatric brand of protein shakes which I bought 2 flavors. As for the snacking.. He told me I can't snack at all. The only food I can consume is the lunch. I have however, I been snacking on pickles when I get super hungry which helps to munch on something. Everything I've heard of other peoples pre-op diets are soooo different from mine. I know every surgeon is different so trying to follow as much as possible.
  14. Thank you so much for your reply. I finally figured out how to update my profile. Sorry about that. Thank you also for the encouragement. Only 3 days in but I'm doing it. Farther than I thought I would have made it when the surgeon told me about it. lol.
  15. Thank you so much. I was having a hard time figuring out how to update my stats. You can't do it through the app or on mobile. But got it figured out. I appreciate you.
  16. Thank you so much. Only 3 days in and its definitely hard! However, so far so good!
  17. Thank you so much for the reply! It is really good to know that the 40lbs is possible as long as I stick to it. I am of course horribly hungry but that is not a shocker. I have decided to munch on pickles when I just can't bare the hunger. Hoping that won't be an issue. Luckily I also love pickles.
