I had my surgery the same day. I can have protein shakes starting today. I am still really sore how about you? As for the bandages mine are all waterproof and will peel off in time.

You would think that since the surgery was not done that long ago he would fix his work. I am getting banded on the 18th and my surgeon told me if something happens in the first year he wold take care of it.

You should just call the doctor doing the surgery and ask. I would not think that would stop you from having the surery. But a sore throat could.

My surgery is on August 18th. I am nervous to. But I am thinking of the positive things. Not being tired all the time. Evertime I get invited to an event the struggle of what to wear. I want to run with my daughter and teach her the proper choices in food. When I think of those things it makes me want the surgery today.

Hi Stacey, My name is Julie and I live in Michigan. I am 43 and I my weight is 215. I am scheduled for surgery the same day as you. I am nervous but excited. Just like with anything there will be good times and bad. Hang in there you can do this.

Just hang in there. If your doctor supports you it should happen quickly. I finally have my surgery August 18th. I hope all goes well. Keep us posted.

I am getting my surgery at Great Lakes August 18th. Who is doing your surgery? Dr Laker doing mine. I want to say about four to six weeks depending how you heal.
