So I’m in the beginning of week three and I have not lost any weight all week. I’m also constipated. I’m down a total of 28lbs since the preop liquid diet. I started at 249lbs and I’m now 221lbs. What are you taking for constipation? How long is the stall period?

I’m not sure. Each surgeon may have their own requirements I just had my surgery a week ago on the 27th

I was told to lose 10lbs but I didn’t lose it until my pre-op liquid diet. I actually lost 15lbs in two weeks

My birthday is today. My surgery would have been today if it wasn’t the holiday. So I went with Friday the 27th. How are you feeling?

Did anyone else have bad chest pains after surgery? I’m 3 days post op and it hasn’t went away. It comes and goes. They did an EKG before I left the hospital and said I was ok .

I’ve tried the recliner and it’s so uncomfortable for me. I slept in my bed last night. How is your pain? I’m 2days post op and I’m still feeling it alot especially my right side. Sometimes I feel I have heart burn

Hello I’m 1 day post op. How are you able to find good sleeping positions? What’s your favorite sleeping position without pain

1 day post op. I was in so much pain yesterday none of the pain medication was working for me. I was able to drink without feeling nauseous. My breakfast tray consist of protein shake, milk, veggie broth and decaffeinate coffee. I should be getting discharged today even though I’m still having pain

I made it through the week without anymore slip ups. The first week was brutal. My surgery is scheduled tomorrow at 7:30am. I have to be at the hospital by 5:30am ??

My doctors office just called. I have to be there tomorrow morning at 5:30am. Surgery is scheduled for 7:30am. I’m so excited and nervous

I’m soooo hungry! I keep eating sugar free popsicles, broth, Gatorade zero. It’s torture cooking my family full course meals everyday. I’m excited for the phone call tomorrow to let me know what time I need to be at the hospital Friday. My doctor said I’m first in the list so I should be having my surgery around 7:30am.

I’m definitely going to pack my heating pad. I see it’s a must have. Comfortable clothes to ride home in. I’m praying I’m only one day. My birthday is Monday I want to be home.
