  1. I may be an outlier on this, My team put me out for 7 weeks, as I have a physically demanding job, I am a long haul covid person and have MCAS as a result. I never used my sick time in the 25 years I have been with the district so I had around 1000 hours of sick time to use. I would do what feels best for you, my surgeon says most people are out two weeks, but again everyone is different.

  3. Good Afternoon everyone, And a special hello to all my May surgery buddies. I am new here and had my Gastric Sleeve surgery on May 11th. I am doing great currently, and feeling very optimistic! My first 3 days were the hardest, I was sore and to be honest a bit stressed. But the hospital staff and my surgeons staff answered all my questions, and put my worries to rest. One really convenient thing my surgeons team did was to send my meds for after surgery to the pharmacy a full 2 days before my surgery.
