Nunt

I was banded 7/7/08. I love it. The ONY problem I have encountered is the last fill I got. I had 6 cc's in my 10cc band. My last fill the Dr. added 1 cc. It was entirely too tight. I could not even drink water, even though in the office the water went down fine. I went back the next day and he took out 1/2 cc. That was 3 weeks ago.. I am still suffering. I cannot eat ANYTHING SOLID. I am sliming and PB'ing every minute of every day. I woke up 2 different nights, throwing up in my sleep, the water I drank before I went to sleep. Not fun. I thought being "tight" would be a good thing. Hard lesson learned. You just need "restriction" to help you lose. Now I am hungry and cannot even keep down hot tea. I have an appointment today. I cannot wait for him to take some of this out!

Congrats on your anniversary! I had my surgery in July 2008 and have only lost 33 pounds. I am getting a little discouraged.. Do you?

Well, count me in this boat. I was banded 7/7/08, and I haven't lost much either. Maybe 20 lbs. I am going in tomorrow for my 4th fill. I can eat anything except bread. This is crazy. Lots of money for this surgery, and I can still eat. I dont get it. Sometimes I wish I had of had the gastric. I am VERY frustrated. Help?? suggestions??

I am from Rome, Ga. My Dr. is Ryland Scott. He is wonderful!! I had my surgery at Floyd Medical Center. They have the most wonderful rooms for you to recover in. The nurses brought me a fresh bouquet of flowers for me to look at until I went home that evening...

Hi! I am new here.. was banded on 7/7/08 and haven't had a fill yet. I go 8/7/08 to do that, and I am very excited about it. I have lost only 7 lbs since my surgery and feel like I have NO restriction. It is very frustrating. I can eat whatever I want. I have to use my self control! Just wanted to introduce myself and say I enjoy reading all the posts. They really helped my thru my first days of post surgery!! Nunt Banded 7/7/08 271 lbs currently 267 lbs...:biggrin:
