May 2 and very nervous!

Day 3 diet of 2 weeks liquid ugh, I am hanging in there. But I dont know whats worse, being nervous/anxious about the surgery or dreading the constipation thats coming at some point!! lol

I'm on day 4 of my 2-week liquid diet. It has been rough. I'm not a fan of the broth but found that adding a bit of soup base and seasonings helps. I get now why people have posted about mourning their former life (even though I haven't even had surgery yet). There's no way around this though, I just have to keep pushing through. It's comforting to know that others are going through this with me!

They have me starting on the 20th for liquid diet. I'm nervous too! This is actually my second time round scheduling VSG. I chickened out 2 yrs ago... But this time I'm gonna do it! Ready for change. Best of luck to you!

So nervous and upset. I thought I had allergies (well I do, but I thought that's all I have) but now it's turned into a full blown head/sinus cold. And I'm supposed to go for my pre-op blood work tomorrow and have surgery in 2 weeks!!!! I can almost guarantee my surgery is going to be rescheduled, and I'm so upset about it!!!!

Started my liquid diet today ugh lol, Surgery May 3rd. I have mixed emotions, sometimes I am nervous and anxious while other times I am calm about it because I know it needs done for better health. I think its just the surgery itself that makes me nervous. I dont think its following the program I hopefully will not have an issue with that. Hoping these jitters go away

Hello, Im new to this group, just joined today. My surgery is set for May 11. I start my two-week preop diet on April 27. Im nervous and excited, but mostly ready to get this journey underway and get healthy again!!
