  1. :sad:Help! I'm 1 and 1/2 weeks post op and at my 1 week appt I had lost 7lbs--but now I have gained two!! I don't feel as much restriction, and I have added things like guacamole to my clear soups for a little more nutrition. I'm still hungry between meals, but I am not snacking between meals. What is going on? I'm eating so much less than I was before.
  2. What is sliming and pbing? I'm 4 days in and I havn't ever heard of this.
  3. You only have eighteen pounds to go! Don't give up, just think of how much better you feel now than you did when you consistently overate. Also, try to change your focus when you wnt to eat. Go for a walk, call a friend, or blog!
  4. I'm a newbie to lap band and your site. I was banded on 7/28, and I am just starting to get my energy back. I'm having a had time finding things to eat on my "thick liquid" phase. Jello and smoothies are too sweet, and cream soups are gagging me. Also, I'm having some persistent pain under the uppermost incision at the base of where my ribs meet. Is that normal? I have been coughing alot, can that dislodge anything?
  5. I'm three days out from surgery, and I'm really struggling finding things to eat on my "thick liquid" diet. Jello and Cream soups make me literally gag, yogurt and smoothies are too sweet. Any ideas? Also, I'm having some pain under the incision closest to my ribs, is that normal? I have been coughing alot. Can that dislodge anything?:confused2:
