sorry im gona do your head in with all the questions but im not quite sure if i feel hungery or not or full or not dont know if its because all i feel is tightness at the moment but i cant figure what signs are what, will all that come to me over time or should i know already.

thanks thats good i cant sleep if im not on my belly but luckily i didnt feel sick after the annasetic just really tired but was to uncomfortable to sleep i wish i didnt look so rough after i had it done i dont know about you but i thourght frederik was rather nice haha

oh good its a horrible feeling cant wait till it goes away was starting to feel that this what life with a band felt like thanks for replying so quick quite painful to be on here but no i never met angie or nick my mom saw angie at hotel the day i was being banded she said she looked really well not like someone that had just had a operation i really wanted to see her to ask her what it felt like, so how long is it till i will feel okay with walking and that without it being sore.

hiya i got back from belguim today and everything went well with the operation and thankfully the pre op diet wasnt mentioned im still in a bit of pain where the port is and also dont know if its normal or not but i keep getting really sharp tight pain every now and again esp after deep breaths or burps having a lot of them im getting worried case thats not sopose to be happening all i have been having is sips of cup of soup and protin shakes can anyone let m know if this is normal please thanks i was only banded wednesday

Thankyou yes when im banded im going to make sure i do everything by the book because i want this more than anything it has been hard saving the money to do it so i need to make it work i will keep you all posted of how i get on hopefully i will be banded on wednesday and i can tell you all how great i feel when im home i hope x

i am going to belguim in the morning really scared now my pre op diet hasnt gone well at all and i actually weigh half a stone heavier now than when i booked my operation 2 months ago so dont know how thats gonna go down with dr chris im scared he wont do the operation because my liver wil be to fat im so ashammed of my self what do you think Dr chris will do

any advice for what to pack to take with you to belguim thanks x

hello angie and nikk good luck to you both for your surgery on tuesday hope you both have a safe journey to belguim as i know angie you are flying over tomorrow arnt you bet your really excited i know i am i fly out on tuesday and having op wednesday the day your descharged so hopefully i will see you in both in belguim in the hospital and angie at the hotel also all the best i cant wait x

hiya nikkx and angie not long to go now how is your pre op diets going mine is not going to well im having all kinds of dreams about the op now getting scared but im very excited and i really hope i see you either in the hospital or hotel would be great to talk to some one in the flesh who has had it done but dont know what you look like dont fancy asking a stranger are you having gastric band surgery if there not cant imagine they would be to pleased haha

hiya flirtylass how are you getting on are you on mushy food, i go on tuesday getting really anxcious about it now and my partner has arranged for us to do our will on friday thats a bit scary does he think i might die, i was wondering what time in the day do you have your op and how long does it last its just my mom is coming with me and she works night so she will have had no sleep when we go on tues but she wont leave the hospital case she not there when i wake up but if it gonna be a few hours she might aswell go back hotel and get some sleep anyhow hope you are well and pleased with your weight loss.

hiya im glad everything has gone okay and wow 10lbs down already thats amazing i started my pre op diet today but finding it hard and i have put half a stone on since i booked my operation 6 weeks ago but yeah goin to town weekend to get some jogging bottems to take with me as my clothes are tight enough with puttin half stone on i have been pigging out alot so really can not wait now till my banding day, are you having any protein shakes ?

hiya everyone just followed the link to read the article on the 3 women who had the gastric band and can not believe some of the comments people have left on there i can see why people choose not to tell anyone about surgery because you get judged so much i didint really want people to know but my mom has been telling everyone and im thinking now is that everybody is thinking about me.

hello thanks everyone im so glad i have found this site reading all these posts make me feel so much better about the surgery everyone is really concerned about me going abroad but reading these posts make me see i have made the right decision thankyou again and look forward to reading more posts and seeing how well everyone is doin with there weight loss

hello just wanted ask for advice on what to pack to take with me do you need to take soup and shakes with you or will you not be able to stomach that so early also when your in the operation do you get to wear your knickers r do you have to be naked.

yeah im gettin really excited as its actualy 4 weeks today that i go, im doin everyones head in its all i talk about we are goin on a girly night out on 9th november and i am hoping that i gonna of lost at least 1 and half stone at least but we will see, I really hope we do cross each others paths in brussels so we can compare notes can imagine first night at hotel after the op to be quite scary not noing what to feel or excpect im not seeing dr chris before i go to belguim only when im there was feeling a bit weird about that but bridget has assured me that goin on info i gave her dr chris will defo do the surgery.

No not really had any information as yet but no there is no extra charge for the consultation if it is booked through bridget what about you.

hiya im staying at camponilles hotel think thats what its called i arrive on 23rd and have op 24th so prob will see you im goin with my mom so if you see a blonde size 18 girl and a size 6 brunnette thatll be me and my tiny mom, where are you staying have you got your euros yet the rate is really poor at moment works out at 3280.00 pounds when i first looked into it was 3140.00 pound

really glad you have good things to say about dr chris really puts my mind at ease i was also wondering how people are getting with the injections in the stomach can it be done your self or do you need to get someone to do it for you i dont like thr thourght of it being done at all

hi thankyou for the replys, i have been wondering what to do about the 2 week pre op diet as at the moment im eating for england prob put abot 5lb on last couple of weeks, been shopping today with my partner and my 2 boys lookin at all the really nice clothes getting excited about the fact i may actually be able to wear them 1 day, but loosing what was it 13lb in 2 weeks thats brilliant i would be well chuffed with that at weight watchers it would take bout 4 weeks to loose that much im so excited wish it was next week, im not on bebo im on myspace and facebook x

hello my names naomi im 25 and im goin to belguim on 23rd sept and being banded on the 24th sept was feeling okay a few weeks ago when i arranged it all but now with it getting closer everyday im starting to feel worried what if it doesnt work and im going to be fat forever but reading your posts on here you all seem to be doing realy well i have got about 5- 4 and half stone to loose because i have always been overweight just can not picture looking normal in my head, but reading posts on here has been great nice to read stories of people that have used dr chris i cant wait to get there and have it done meet dr chris and start loosing the last few weeks ive been eating for england i need to put a stop to that.
