  3. Boy are you like telling my story,it was 7days before my surgery that I got covid,I had to wait a month, then my Doctor took time off 5days before my surgery. Now it's rescheduled for the 11th. Talk about rethinking this whole thing. Glad I'm not alone.

  6. I've learned that most protein powders do not have vitamins. I'm not sure if there's any out there that do. That's one thing to look for. I did find this protein powder that has no flavor. Don't even know what's in my stuff but I said does not have vitamins.
  7. No I use the patch. I'm in the US and it's not expensive. It's only $18 for a month which is about $0.50 a patch but my doctor said it was fine but I had to add a b 12 patch . The patch did not have enough B12
  8. Love by patches. They have everything I need. I get them on Amazon automatically. No more vitamin pills

  10. I bought a roasted chicken and carrots celery some other vegetables and boiled them then strained it . Put it in ice cube trays and bag them up. That's a great broth and it's okayed by my doctor. Don't be afraid to do a little cooking it makes the liquid diet go so much easier!.
  11. I missing my grandson's, because I cannot be around food like that. I know it upsets my daughter cuz it's the first grandchild that is graduated high school but you have to take care of yourself. Be number one in your life even if it makes people upset
  12. I'm doing the bypass mostly because I have severe heartburn and getting a sleeve gives you really bad heartburn so why add to it? I don't want to burn out my esophagus.
  13. It so different from my Doctor only clear liquids day before. Here is what my Doctor will let you have
  14. I forgot to add I'm getting the bypass because I have severe heartburn as it is. My doctor told me that getting the sleeve would give me more heartburn and I sure didn't want that.
  15. I'm not having my surgery until the 31st of May 2022 but I have found vitamin patches that actually were recommended by my doctor. I started using them now so I can get used to them and see if there was any side effects from them. They're great and they're not that expensive. I get a 30 day supply for 18 bucks on Amazon. Give it a try. It's less pills. And their recommended. So just saying wish me luck

  17. My prediet seems to be a little bit different than everybody else's. My doctor has made it a little bit easier. I'm actually allowed a half a turkey sandwich, lettuce and tomato. Three protein drinks a day at dinner. I'm allowed white fish, chicken breast or pork chop. This is for the first 10 days on the day before surgery. It's all liquid. Just saying times have changed. Maybe your doctors need to think about that.
