8 or 9 fills. At that rate I'll be old and gray before I lose enough weight to feel like a normal person. I just can't wait for 8 or 9 fills. I'm going to go crazy waiting to loose weight.

Feel Lucky! My doctor won't do me a fill but once a month if that. My first fill was July 18 for 1.5cc and my next fill is Aug. 22. He will only schedule his paitents for fills on mondays in the following month. I, of course, have no restriction at all and with the rate my doc is going I won't loose another pound til this winter. I'm having the same problem. 2 fills and nothing. I am very disappointed as well. I lost 27.5 lbs before the surgery and one pound after. The statement I keep getting is, "I take some people up 5 fills or more before they feel anything. I'm so not wanting to hear that. I was banded on June 2,08 and I get more and more discouraged when I go to the doctor that did my surgery. Let me know how you do? I have next fill on Aug. 18. Kimberly

Help! I am falling off the wagon. I've had 1 fill of 1.5 and I have no restriction at all. I'm am an ice cream freak and I know I'm gaining weight after a loss after surgery of 23 lbs. Any Advice would be good. Thank you all. Kimberly

Its not anymore pain then just having a blood test. Be glad your doc does the BS and xray, mine doesn't and I'm so hungry with very little will power. My doc will only put in 1.5 cc which is not much at all. Advice to you - count your many blessings? Its a piece of cake. Ooops. Kimberly

I'm Kimberly and I had my Lap band surgery on June 2, just 7 weeks ago and I'm kind of disappointed in the Lap band. I had my first fill a week ago and there is no restriction. I'm so afraid I'm going to gain the 23 pounds I've already lost. I had the surgery because I'm more then 100 pounds over weight so 27 doesn't seem like much to me. My doctor states that he will only do 1.5cc fills at a time, does this seem like to little or I'm I losing hope. My will power is falling and the band isn't helping like I thought. Can anyone help me with some of these questions?
