Hi Bel, My name is Laurasue. I live near Boston in Massachusetts, USA. I am 49 yrs old - mother of two, 20 yr old daughter adn 11 year old son. I have been married for 24 years. My husband is a stay at home dad. I have gone through the process and am currently scheduled for surgery on Sept 30th. I am nervous about the length of time but think I will try to start my new way of eating - liquids etc. Please let me know how you are doing with your depression. I suffer as well. Hi - I am having my surgery at Boston Medical Center. I needed to wait for the appropriate time from work. I am glad to have the date scheduled. As I read more and more I become more confident. For those who are having surgery before me - I will keep you in my prayers. My bigest issue now is to try and develop my new eating habits before I definately have to.... I want to get uswed to it. Hello Valerie - I am new to this forum and not yet banded - I have my surgery date of 9/30. I have fought over the idea of messing with God's plan for me. I continue to wonder if this is the way to go.
