I just got my surgery date!! Nov 10!! All the testing and Drs seem so real now. I was going to take a break from all the testing , but now I can't wait to finish my tests. I am going to Dr Gabiel in Smithtown NY. :thumbup::tt2:

I'm from Long Island. I'm just starting The process, I went for initial consult 3 weeks ago and started 3 mos diet. I'm just going for all my Clearence Dr appts now.

:cool2:I just went for my evaluation yesterday and we just talked about my past diet attempts, family life, what I expect the lap band to do for me. they don't want you thinking it's an easy fix and you don't have to worry about what you eat anymore. Dopn't worry about it.Good luck.

I just started last month and I am setting up all my Dr appointments for clearance. I have Aetna HMO , I called them and my plan chose to include the bariatric option in the coverage. I am working with the nutrionist , I don't know if they choose the 3 or 6 month diet. I see them at the end of August. I am very excited to be getting the ball rolling !!:wink_smile:
