  1. I was/ have been taking painkillers/ tablets since I had surgery. I was sleeved on Dec 20th so am not too far out. My recovery was going well but I have started having pain on my right hand side of stomach since I got covid, this especially hurts if i move too quickly or if I sneeze.
  2. Hi! How are you, I was sleeved a couple of weeks ago so am in no way an expert but happy to support you as much as I can! Hope you're doing well x
  3. Thank God you are okay now, I am certainly on the mend though not out of isolation yet. The fatigue has been really awful, I was sleeping for days!
  4. I too was a big drinker of water pre-op, struggle now but doing my best. The one thing I will struggle with the most is not being able to drink with meals as I like to wash my food down and drink a lot with my food. I too am not taking in enough fibre, what drink do you take?
  5. OMG, I ended up with Covid in my second week, I know how you feel about being set back. My incisions and stomach started hurting again when I had covid and still aren't great now. I don't end isolation for another few days.
  6. Hi, thanks for your comment. I have been living on soups and protein water, had the odd protein shake but they are very sweet and that puts me off atm. I don't think I am getting enough protein but have subsidised by nibbling on a Babybel and had some mozzarella earlier. Sweet things were my downfall pre-surgery and I am hoping I am now off them for life!!
  7. Hi all, I am from the UK but was sleeved in Turkey on 20th Dec, I was not big enough for surgery in the UK and it 4x the price here. I don't feel like I am meeting my protein goals but do like the Grenade drinks. Is it just me or does everything taste extra sweet after surgery?!
  8. Hi guys, I am unable to fill in the section on my profile with my surgery details, anyone help me please? Thanks x
  9. Hi all, I am new. I was sleeved in Turkey on December 20th. Back home now and still thinking about food, I am putting this down to it being Christmas and there being so much in the house. I am still sore from surgery but feel better every single day.
