  1. The best word of advice is DO NOT drink and eat at the same time because it totally goes against the whole point of the surgery. The band is a tool to help you loose weight only; there are some lifestyle changes that need to be done. You and I the same, have to break this life long habit!!! The days I refrain from drinking with my meal is like heaven because I am ful for WAY WAY longer
  2. I think this article would be very helpful for me. However, when I click on the link it says that the page is not available. Perhaps this an older article and I cannot read it??
  3. Ok but all those tricks are also true for people who try to diet without being banded. How does being banded make this different? Please help.
  4. See I don't get it?? I was playing those head games before the surgery, but now I am in 20,000 debt on top of it. Someone help me!?!
  5. That is how I felt for the three days following my surgery. I was not fixated on food, I was not thinking about what I wanted to eat next and I was not woken up by my hunger while I was sleeping. I was told to keep in my memory the way I feel right after surgery since this is going to be the good old sweet spot I will working hard for. Now it's been three weeks since surgery and boy do I ever miss that feeling of being normal! I read postings daily to bring up my spirit....It will take time, some more than others to reach the sweet spot.
