  1. I totally always wondered what DH was but didn't ask. I knew it had something to do with husband Thank you:thumbup:
  2. Always remember to listen to your body. I love working out with weights and my trainer pushes me to the point where I'm dripping sweat and shakey but if it is hurting something that it's not suppose to I tell him and he modifies.
  3. I'm pre-surgery but when I took fiber it constipated me and I did drink alot of water so I feel your pain. Stool softer and I drink warm lemon water in the morning (learned that at Diet Center years ago).
  4. I just started my 3 month diet for my insurance and a support group "New Beginnings" I have to journel and my nurse will be checking it. I only have to lose 10lbs. before surgery but they said the more I lose the better for me my surgery will be so I'm giving it my best shot. But up until now yeah I ate like I was going to the chair.
  5. I know people that have had bypass and not only did they gain their weight back but now their insides are rerouted, they are vitamin deficient and they are heavy again. OIY! No brainer for me LB it will be.
  6. When I first started researching the LB I was petrified. I first started June 24th. I have learned so much on this site and talked to people who have had it. I start my support groups Sept.22 (nutritionist etc.). Now I am so excited I can't wait for this to happen!! I think you just need to learn as much as you can and talk to people dr. etc. about any questions you have. You'll be fine. Good Luck!!
  7. You don't even have to see a nutritionist? I start mine Sept. 22. I have so many questions on how to work this band. I do learn a lot on here but I definitely have specific questions. I just want to get maximum results from this tool. Do you know everything food wise your suppose to do? Just curious.
  8. Like you I'm very open about it and most people who know me know I've tried evertything. I'm 41 yrs old and things are starting to hurt because of my weight. I don't care what anyone says negative I'm so excited about my decision I tune them out. You just stay excited! Theres always going to be someone negative out there F... em!!
  9. I am so with you Jachut!! I am 5'8" and 281 (not banded yet) and my best GF is trying to tell me being 200lbs. is not a bad weight for me. Get real yes I don't look bad at that weight and can get into a size 12-14 (I have always excercised and had a tummy tuck 5 yrs ago it helps) BUT that is way too much weight for my 5'8" frame I would love to be like you and be 154!!!! By the way you look FABULOUS!
  10. I am from Jersey and my appt. with the Dr. is 9/2. I am so excited and have been on these forums reading reading and reading. It so informative. What did you decide to do Lap or GB?
  11. Hi summertime I just realized you were probably talking to LaShun.
  12. I meant I'm still going through the process of testing and getting approved. I just like to see how people like the band because I'm excited and nervous about doing it. I had a client (I'm a hairstylist) who had it done and she lost 60lbs. in 2 years. She was getting frustrated but she wasn't following the rules (she thought it was suppose to be magic not a tool). I hadn't seen her for 3 mos. and she's down 95lbs.(35 lbs. in 3 mos.) in all. She said she just got serious got a fill and starting using it like it was meant to be used. You really have to have self control it sounds like OIY!!!!
