  2. I have United through Optum as well. I guess your plan is different as mine didn't require the 5 year history. It was actually very easy to get approved. Sorry that you need that but i would confirm with Optum themselves as my patient navigator stated i needed the history but it actually wasn't required.
  3. Like others have said, if your A1C is already super high it seems to be easier to drop it quickly. I dropped mine from 10.7 to 8.1 in less than a month. It's definitely possible. Not easy though.
  4. I’m about a month and a half out from bypass and I haven’t had any issue drinking enough. I was expecting to feel an issue if I drink too much, or too fast but it’s been suspiciously easy. Hope I’m not hurting myself.

  12. I can’t wait to be able to ride roller coasters again. I used to love riding when I was younger and thought that I would never be able to enjoy that with my son. Now that I am post op and losing I can finally look forward to it again!
