UHC Optum 5 year BMI

Does anyone have any experience with United healthcare Optum program?

They require a 5 year BMI of obesity, but are unable to give me a more specific answer of what they consider an acceptable BMI >30? >35? >40?

It's very frustrating because it will determine if I'm covered or not.

If anyone has some insight please let me know, I'm considering switching insurance if it's going to disqualify me.

I have United through Optum as well. I guess your plan is different as mine didn't require the 5 year history. It was actually very easy to get approved. Sorry that you need that but i would confirm with Optum themselves as my patient navigator stated i needed the history but it actually wasn't required.
