Members Being Banded In March 06
I have my first fill date for May 15th. I'm pretty excited/nervous. I have had restriction as well as pb'ing. I can't seem to get this slowwwwwwww thing down. I'm really working on it. I lost 16 lbs the first two weeks, but nothing this past week. I would think I would, as my calorie content hasn't gone over 1000-1100, but I think my body is adjusting. Oh and my oncoming time of the month usually has me retain as well. lots of fun, that it! This past week, we've had a few days at 100 degrees, which is a little early even for Austin, so I think I need to kick up the water, a lot! Good luck to all of us Marcher's! Keep up the good work! sam

Hey Kristi, have you had your first fill? How did it go? I've scheduled mine, but won't be until May, so I have a little time. sam

Boca Burgers
Okay! Okay! I always just looked at 'em and said "gag!", but after reading all of you, I'm going to have to re-think my position and try them. They sound way healthier/lower cal, so I'll give 'em a go this weekend. You guys sold me! sam

scar
I, also have keloid scarring. I am verrrrrry pale skinned. It's kind of a bummer, but doesn't appear to be the case on my lap-band scars. Different parts of me scar differently. I guess I should be happy I don't scar like that all over as I'm pretty clumsy! lol

Spring Bootcamp 2006
Couple of slip ups this past weekend. And it seemed that everything kind of slowed down from all liquid stage. I did manange to still lose half a pound, but will get back up on the horse this week. (I've dropped and given you 20 Sarge, before you even told me.) Water, Water, Water!

Please help me find a decent low fat butter...
I'm with you Molly. I'd rather have a little bit of butter any day. The I can't believe it's not butter spray though is pretty good. My kids like it better than real butter.

Spring Bootcamp 2006
AAAGGGGHHH, I didn't realize how hard it was to get all the needed water in! I'm getting little more than half, although I am getting other fluids, as I am still on a liquid stage. Looking at mushies next week. I will continue to keep trying to add more. Hang in there Sarge, you'll make a good private out of me, yet! sam

Thanks Kristin. Glad to know that is normal. On my week two I'm doing thicker liquids, but I don't seem to have any problem unless I have apple juice. I was never a big juice fan in the past because of all the calories, maybe my system is just not use to it. I am looking forward to mushies. yeahhh bring on the mashed foods! lol. Good luck to all of us Marchers. sam

Hey Sarge, I'm in! I haven't taken measurements, but will be doing so tomorrow. New weight is 217 lbs. I'm not sure how to calculate body fat percentage. (not that i really want to know that #) can anyone give me a heads up on that? Much thanks! Sam LBT BOOTCAMP 4-10 4-17 4-24 5-1 5-8 5-15 5-22 5-29 6-5 6-12 6-19 6-26 6-30

I was banded on march 31 in Mexico. I'm not hungry, but I have been experiencing a very loose stool. Anyone else had this problem? No more gas pain, and a little soreness I guess at where the port incision is. I went back to work on Tuesday,(desk job), without any problems. I'm so glad to hear everyone is doing well! I have cooked some of the best, healthiest dishes for my family this week, and resisted the urge to taste anything. Whew, that was hard, but surprisingly without the hunger not as hard as I thought it would be. Good luck everyone and keep up the good work! :clap2: sam

Time off after surgery
I was banded on Fri 033106 and was back at work Tues 040406. I could have come in on Mon, but was too tired from a late flight in. I also have a desk job, so no lifting or moving around too much. I havent been experiencing much discomfort, just have to make sure I sit up straight as my poor posture seems to put a little discomfort on my port site. Good Luck! Sam
