Okay all, I was looking at the oprah site and saw the stuff about Kristie Alley who gained all her weight back after going off the JC plan. She said at the end of the story that she was probably never going to wear a bikini again but she say a real cute dress she wanted to wear. And I thought I have not worn a dress, or a skirt in years I mean years not since High School. I would love to wear a cute summer dress. I guess I need to find a cute goal dress or something. What are all you thoughts on this? Also on that show a man was on there and said if they could do bypass on his brain he would go for it because that is where the problem was not his stomach. This is so true. There is a WV woman who has some type of surgery on her brain for this. Oh My I don't know if I would do that. Here the tittle on MSNBC "Obese woman has brain surgery for weight lossW.Va. mother of 2 is second to get deep brain stimulation to control hunger"

Hi everyone, Sorry I missed"support Janet day" as well but I so love your encouraging words all the time. You have helped so many of us. I think I can say we all appreciate it so much. You are just totally an awesome person. QUOTE=peascorps;1213286] 1 day~ glad you got on the meds. The prev pack is more expensive than the medications themselves separately, but it is very convenient. Where I work, I tend to have a lot of working poor/uninsured and find creative ways to treat without the new fancy packages. The pills are HUGE. Be careful... wouldn't want one of those stuck! Now, they won't want to retest immediately after you finish the pills. The antibiotics take up to 7-14 days to finish working on the bacteria. So, I usually test a month or so after. Make sure and eat yogurt with the active cultures so the antibiotics don't cause any unwanted intestinal issues. : ) Laura Yeah the pills are totally huge I hate taking them. I take 4 giant sized pills in the morning and 4 at night. No intestinal issues yet. I hope I do not get any. If I knew I could buy the stuff separate I would have it was like 40 bucks. oh well to late now. Actually my Dr started me on a prev pack which is a combo acid reducer and antibiotic. I have to try to choke down 4 huge pills twice a day which sucks. They found the H pylori by blood test so who knows. i am going to have them test me when I get done taking them which is not for 10 days

Hey Guys, So I got a call from my Dr and he stated that I tested positive for the H Pylori bacteria in my stomach. This is so weird why would I get it now but when they tested me prior to my surgery I did not have it. Anyways I have to take some kind of medicine to get rid of it. Does anyone on this board know anything about this? Okay here is meals for the day Not the best but it is a start back from my meltdown. 1 cup coffee with 2 creamers and splenda before Breakfast 1 cup oatmeal for breakfast 1 3oz tuna for snack 1/2 a portion of nachos at Moes (okay so this was my crazy meal) 1 3oz tuna for snack 1 grilled KFC chicken breast for dinner (this is the new item there) I also drank my 64 ozs of Water today

okay let me back up Wednesday is when I was out because of the stomach pain so yesterday I went to work all stressed about missing a day and missing a meeting the dept head planned(just an FYI I work in a call center on the phones) Then I get to work and out of 11 people they fired 1 person, 1 person no longer takes calls, 1 person transferred to another department, 2 people were training and 1 person called out. Plus we had work like mad to work between taking calls and answering emails the bosses were running around saying get on the phone get on the phone people are waiting to talk to us. But they don't take calls go figure. I work for a company now that is quantity over quality but I am not that kind of person. I am all about 1 call resolution and give excellent customer service. But I guess that is corp America now. So I just was like F it yesterday and chowed down on the sugar which in turn made me fell worse later but at the moment I was like yeah sugar and carbs. Funny thing today was worse and I did not go for the chocolate just the peppermint like the life savers ones. But I did eat a tiny bagel toasted to heck so I could get it down. I did that so I could eat it. Three people called out today on top of the stuff from the day before. Okay wait I guess today eating was like yesterday. What an eye opener stress if a clincher for me I guess. I have access to a lot of chocolate because on of my mangers has a drawer full of all kinds of chocolate for people you just go get it. And he sits real close to me. Okay so now what ........ I am tying to start over but haaaaaaaaaaaaaa I just want to scream.

Okay all, The doctor's office called me today and said my labs are fine. My white blood cell count is up a little but they believe it is because of the pulled muscle or stitch which ever one I did. They said to check back if I am not a lot better on Monday. I hope I am because I want to work out with my trainer next Tuesday. In the meantime I am walking a little bit not as much as I need to because it hurts when I do to much. I want to push through it so I do not become to lazy. Thanks for all the well wishes everyone.

I do the same thing. I get a good weight and then I try to go back. Why do we do this to ourselves? Geez I think I have done this so many times already. You know I think cause deep down I want it easy except I know I can't do it the easy way. Okay all, The doctor's office called me today and said my labs are fine. Yes this is normal I did the same right up until the wheeled me in for my surgery. And just and FYI when you are on the liquids at first you do second guess yourself like why you did it but trust me this is what you wanted to do since 7/08 and this is just the negative talk speaking. You can do it just remember why you wanted to do this in the first place. Make a list and keep it with you. Stay strong.

Okay everyone, I just came home from seeing my surgeon. He wanted to empty my band first but after talking to me and pushing around he just thinks I pulled a stitch in my port. But I asked him to do some blood work so he is doing a complete blood count, liver enzymes as well as checking the pancreas enzymes. I am glad because then that can rule out other stuff and then I will believe it is what he thinks it is.

Thanks so much guys I will definitely let you guys know what they tell me. I was looking on line and webmd said possibly pancreatitis. I surely hope not because I do not want to stay in the hospital. Again thanks for being there to listen to me.

Yeah that is weird.... I was looking on internet and it said maybe pancreatitis. I don't know I guess I will wait and see. Short of going to the hospital... I don't know I hope everything goes well with your surgery. It must have been a tough road but you sound like you have handled it well.

The sweet thing is my demon too. But I am working on trying to keep it at bay. I posted this below on another thread but wanted everyone's opinion here Ok so I have been having pain in my upper left quadrant since Thursday. At first I thought it was just gas. I took gas x and drank alot of water but that did not seem to help. When I walk, sit, stand it hurts. Laughing yawning it hurts. The pain seems to pierce through to the back. I called my Dr today and he seemed to think it is a pulled muscle from working out with my trainer. So he wants me on liquids for 48hrs (which I don't know that has to do with anything) and no exercising for a week. I can walk but no jogging or lifting things. I don't think it is a pulled muscle but since bathroom habits have not changed and the pain has been the same he wants me to give it some time. What do you guys think? I actually have an appt with my PCP on Thursday just to see what they say, but I just think something is up
