Really 1 week for each stage hmmm maybe i should try that he just said 1 day liquids then slowly reintroduce foods into my diet. I swear I feel tighter at night at the moment which is crazy because it has always been the other way around. it is a little better i just had some Soup but itis sitting in my throat i think I drank to fast again(it is a mexican cheese broth soup with shredded pcs of small chicken) I think the spicey is starting to get to me now. Oh well I am still a happy camper. Charlene K, I am so excited your DH will have surgery next week.

Maybe you are right and I am just freaking out because I am feeling restriction which I thought I had before I guess not. I just know now I have to drink real slowly and not take big gulps and take my time eating I know I know that is what the rules where for in the beginning. LOL oh well I will hang in there and keep you posted. I think the throat thing is taking in more than I am supposed weather it is food or drink. I think with this feel I can eat a lot less which is good but now I have to pay attention more. Julie, You will be in my prayers. You hang in there and before you know it you will be back on track with your band journey.

Hey gang, So I went for my 1 year check up yesterday and my Dr said I gained 7 pounds.:smile2: I actually said what the crap what are you talking about. I keep track of my weight on the ticker website and I think I have only flucuated 3 lbs this whole time and my scale is like a pound less than his. That whould have meant that at one time I weighed 222 and I would be jumping up and down if I did. Anyways he decided or should I say we decided to give me a tiny fill basically I have 7.34 cc in my band at least I think that is right. Anyways it is really only day two and everything I eat and drink is hanging in my throat. I do not have the tightness in my chest when I am full it is all in my throat. He said 1 day of liquids which meant yesterday and i could start putting foods back in today which I am but it seems no matter what it is it just feels like it is hanging there. I am concern I have reflux cause it feels like a stinging feeling. And all my liquids make a bubbly sound going down which they didn't really before. i don't think I like this fill very much how long should I give for it to settle do you guys think? I can eat Soup and stuff so i know it is working but still.

Joann I am feeling really good these days of course I am struggling with my sweet tooth but I am trying to take everyone advice and incorporate more fruit. Question for anyone on the board this evening I go to the Dr tomorrow and he is going to ask me how I am doing which is really well but when it comes to food on some days I can each a whole chicken breasts and others not so much. This is how my Dr likes to measure my food intake. I am not much of a food journal person so I am not sure if I should get a tiny fill or leave it alone what do you all think? I usually have a 8-16oz cup of coffee in the morning with half and half and splenda then about an hour later I have some type of Protein or oatmeal then for lunch I have Soup or tuna, chicken or egg salad or sometimes I split lunch with my mother (we work together for the same company different departments). dinner is usually a little of whatever it is I cooked it is funny I used to eat from a salad plate but alot of the time I eat from a small cup because the salad plate looked to big to me. So I am not sure if I should get a feel or not.

Thanks for the ideas. I guess I wait to long to eat, then when I do I am totally hungry. I need to pause in between bites and really focus on that. I actually have not tried the Truvia I have tried Sun Crystals recently and liked it. It is grainy too. Well gotta run I am off work today and going to work out with my son which is fun b/c it is a competition to see who can keep up with what my trainer friend gives us to do. Thanks all for being supportive and very helpful. Also on the skin issue I now have wiggly upper arms. Oh well I will live with it for now but it is like you wave goodbye to someone and your hand stops and your arm keeps on saying goodbye LOL

Hey girl I am doing well. A little nervous with my 1 year coming up. I went shopping for clothes yesterday and could not really find anything I liked in pants. I did try on a size 14 womans dress and was shock it fit. But I can were 16 -18 in shorts and pants. I am not complaining I will take it. I still have the sweet thing happening but I am slowly working on that. I went to see my tranier and his scale which is like the Doctorrs said 226 but my scale said 230 so I don't i know which is right. But I took the smaller number lol. I hope you are doing well. Thanks for checking on me.

PJ, For me if I eat anything really cold and my band is tight it feels like it makes it tighter. You might want to try staying with warm or hot things like tea that might help. I know if I try to eat icecream it makes be pb after a bite or two. Also try liquid Tylenol this helps me it is in the adult pain isle not the kids. Again this is just things that I find work for me many people are different but I thought it might be worth a shot to get you through till you can see the Dr.

I actually did not remeber the 50-100 pounds in the first year that is great to know!! I did remember my Dr saying if you look at a bypass patient vs a lapband after 3 years they average out to roughly the same weight loss. They just drop it all in the begining and we take more time to get there.
