  1. Hello I had my surgery on 8/16 so far so going a little slower than I expected. Went back to work this week we are going two days a week at the moment. Struggling with trying to eat every 2.5 to 3 hours and taking enough food to make it happen. When warming up fish at work it just smells so loud. Looking for suggestions on what to take for lunch. I don't eat meat just fish/ seafood. Thanks for listening.
  2. I cook my fish in the Air fryer as well. Canadian white bass and Orange Roughy seasoned with lemon pepper, garlic powder, onion powder it is really good. Fish is the protein I eat. Plant based is the food style I follow it is challenging though. I tend to do better if I have something to follow already planned out. Like the plan I brought home after the surgery.
  3. Thanks I think I am in a stall weight day of surgery 238 weight on weigh in day last Monday 225. Trying not to be frustrated.
  4. I am 7 weeks out from surgery and have been stuck at 225. After reading all the above I just have to be patient. And will definitely get more exercise in.I started at 238 so at my heaviest when I got my lapband back in 2010 I was 268 so I suppose 225 is better than 238. Still is a bit frustrating though.
  5. My job gave us a Panera gift card for job appreciation. I'm at 6 weeks from surgery date not sure about using the gift card. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance
  6. I only weigh once a week. The day I had my surgery was 8/16. So for me it's every Monday. It had not occurred to me to weigh every day [emoji848]
  7. Is it normal for weight to go up and down the first month after surgery?
  8. Hello, I am week 4 from my surgery and am really tired a lot. I work from home 10 hours most days. This makes it really difficult to get to the gym. My Dr said it will get better. Anyone else have these issues. Thanks
  9. I am no expert but it would be difficult for me to go through this type of surgery to eating 4 boiled eggs and ice-cream at the point you are at currently. Maybe you should check with your doctor about what is going on.
  10. Hi all as most folks I have been working from home since March 2020. I had my gastric sleeve 8/16/2021. My team at work who I absolutely love we are like a family are getting together before going back into the offiice. We will be going in on a rotating basis. My question is when did you feel comfortable going to a social gathering? I don't think I am nowhere near ready for that. Also do you all tell people you have had the surgery? Thanks for listening
  11. My pain is sometimes noticeable and I wish I had a way to manage the pain. The over the counter stuff doesn't do a thing.
  12. Hello, Just wondering if there are any plant based folks out with suggestions to help with this new journey. I am at the beginning of my 2nd week so far so good.
  13. Hi all I am at the beginning of my journey looking for support along the way. The first week was rough hoping this week will be better.
