  1. Thank you so much, I’ll definitely look into that!
  2. It’s my moms blood pressure machine. It works on her just fine but not on me. I’m thinking the cuff might be too small for my arm
  3. I’m not able to meet my daily goal for protein. Not even close. It’s just so hard to drink anything. I do think this had to do with how I am feeling
  4. How much were you consuming 1 week post op during full liquids phase? I can only get about 40oz of fluids including a 30 gram protein shake. I don’t think this is enough. I’m starting to think this is why I’ve been feeling ill
  5. Hi, I was wondering how the Tom yum soup settled on your tummy? I’ve been craving it so bad! I’m on full liquids and was hoping to have the broth of the soup but was worried it wouldn’t settle right. Especially because of the spice. The one I used to get is kind of spicy so I’m not sure if that’s a good idea for 10 days post op.
  6. I tried 3 times to take my blood pressure but the machine kept giving me an “error”. How do I know if I have low blood pressure or low blood sugar?
  7. No I’m not on any blood pressure medication. I’m worried it might be dehydration?
  8. Thank you. I’ve been trying to get ahold of them but I only get their answering machine :(
  9. 8 days post op. Feeling weak, dizzy and lightheaded. Also getting “hot flashes”. I say “hot flashes” because I’m 25 and I’m sure it isn’t that lol but it feels like it. Is this normal or should I call the doctor?
  10. My surgery was 8 days ago. I’m not walking as much as I should, maybe 20 min a day. And yes, I’ve been able to pass a bowel movement
  11. I have this constant gas/pressure in my chest. I have these bubbles coming up my chest from my stomach as if I need to burp but I can’t. I’m taking gas x, going on walks, and taking small sips but nothing has helped. I’ve been like this since day one. Someone please help!
  12. Hello everyone. I’m currently on day 4 out from the sleeeve. Since I’m on full liquids, I was wondering if I still have to wait 30 min before and after my “meal” to continue drinking water/liquids. My “meal” is usually 2-3 oz of a protein shake or a protein drink. Since it’s only liquids, should I continue waiting 30 min before and after to drink more liquids? Thanks in advance.
  13. Hello everyone. I’m 3 days post op and I’ve been having this excruciating pain on my largest incision. I’ve heard that is where the stomach was pulled from and that there would be the most pain in that area. The thing is, I get this stabbing, pulling, burning sensation at this incision whenever I try to go on walks. I also noticed a small part of that incision was a little wet. It’s nothing too drastic, just a little wet spot. However, I’m am worried about a leakage or a possible infection. Anyone else deal with something similar? Thanks in advance!
  14. Thank you so much for the tip! I tried drinking an isopure 2 days ago and it didn’t sit well with me. Hopefully it will be fine next time I try it
  15. Hello everyone. I am 3 days post op I’m having trouble consuming the recommended 60-80 grams of protein AND 64 ounces of water. I opened up an 11 oz can of pure protein with 35 grams of protein and it’s taken me 3 days to finish the single can. I am now able to drink liquids without throwing up (one small victory!) but I’m worried that I am not drinking enough protein and liquids. Any tips? One last thing, I used to chug water down like crazy pre-op, how big/small are the sips I’m supposed to take? At this rate, I’ll never reach my goals! :(
