Hey everyone, i have never posted anything on here..i have been banded for 4 months on the 27th of july....and i have losted 43 lbs... Jennifer

i think we have all been there..i have 7.00 cc in my 10 cc band. i have to remind myself daily that it take time to for everything to work. i had my 3rd fill last monday and had to get .5 cc took out since i was too tight..it take time dont get up. just think in the long run you are going to lose the weight...maybe you should start over with the whole lapband diet.. that what i did and i am finally eating less..i am still hungry but i can deal it for a few more weeks.DONT GAVE UP...just remind yourself that it takes time. :thumbdown:

i dont think the pain in normal..i think it mean we are too tight...i had it for 4 days and i told my dr yesterday..she took some out since every meal i was getting sick after. i didnt get the lapband so i could be sick..or have pain when i eat..the pain isnt normal at all....its saying your too tight..

i think you are too tight...I got my 3rd one monday and yesterday i had to get some took out since i couldnt eat without being sick....

Hey everyone, I just found out that i am getting my lap-band march 27th!!! after 10 longs months of waiting!!!1

Hey, you remind me so much of myself when i was 16..I weigh 270 and i felt like there was no hope...i am now 25 and I am finally doing something about my weight..i weigh 286 now which sucks..I can tell you this about getting the lap-band you cant do it do people will like you or anything like that. you have to do it for yourself. Dont listen to people who say you dont need it..that you can lose weight other ways. Just remember you are not alone.

so as of tuesday i am done with my diet,but now i am wating for this new doc. to tell me back. i have waited for 7 long months for this and i am not going to let anything make me gave up now:thumbup:...i am so scared,but then again i know that if i dont lose weight that my health is only going to get wrose.....so i'll have to wait for them to call me back...i know everyone had to wait,but i have waited for 7 long months lol....

Hi, i know how your feeling. thing was it wasn't only my family telling me not to get it. it was about everyone i knew i got to where i didnt care what they were thinking about me getting it. i knew i was doing the right thing for me. you know some time when people dont understand they are quick to judge and try to change your mind, but you have to know you are doing it for yourself and no-one esle....and you have to trusted in god...he will make everything better...he will help you when you think no-one esle is there. he will make people come into your life when you need them the most...i have to wait 6 months to get my lap-band but i know that there is a good reason and everything is going to be ok ...i hope i help you at all... you know that the lap-band can you file it on your taxes and get your money back..i know many people who got there money back with there taxes....so maybe you can try that too..i know that my doc. was telling me about it..

i dont know why they make us do all of that stuff...i just started doing it and i am kinda tried of seeing docter..i am kinda the person who hates talking about myself and my weigh...but i know in the end that i can get my lap-band and lose the weight i have to tell myself that or i will just gave up...like i have in the past.

:thumbup:so monday (7-14-2008) i went to the my lap-band doc and i have to say she is so nice..and anything at there office is so nice..they told me if they were my age and could change there weight they would.i have to do the six month diet since i dont have any weight lose history with a docter then in 6 months i can have my dream come true...but i have alot to do in those months....i never thought i would be doing this, but i have some family whos not happy about me getting it..i guess they dont understand why i want it done...but then again i am like the only one who is this big..i have gain like 4 lbs in a week....i have been trying iron pills and i know they make you gain but not that much...and i havnt been eating more then before...i was so stocked.....so know i weigh 285 and not 281....i feel like this is in god hands...i trust that he has a plan for me after this happens..who knows i may just found the man of my dreams lol..since i have been single for 2 long years ..with that said i am just happy that i am going to get it done in 6 months......:thumbup:....

hi everyone, i have uhc and they told me they didnt have any requirements..they said once i see the docter..that they will handle everything..its kinda funny how they are all different..but the same company....

sorry about my last thread..i was kinda having one of those days..after hearing all day i shouldnt get it..i was kinda down..i do want to change...i have been trying to lose weight since i dont know when .its been an long time...i have changed the way i eat, but its still not working..my weight just started to get to me..i am 25 and i weight 281 i dont look my weight everyone saids but i feel it...plus my sugar is starting to act up..and thats what scares me the most....plus my feet and back hurt..i am on my feet all day at work and when i get home..i feel like crap...my mom and dad are happy i am going to get it..but other are like telling me not to get it..that i can do in on my own...but they dont understand what i am going thought....kinda like i tell them dont judge me til you walk in my shoes....my doc had me crying in her office the other day..she doesnt know how i feel..all she told me to do is diet more,but if anything came back fine she would write me the letter..i have been waiting since wednesday for her to call me and tell me something....:thumbup: i know my ins. company will work with me..not i am just waiting..something i am not good at lol..anyways now i am about to take a bath and rest i hope everyone has an great night, Jenn
