  7. Gemini A, I understand your pain, I am 7 months post-op, and I can't keep food down most days. Major, major regret, the worst decision I ever made. I suggest staying focused on taking your vitamins and keeping your fluid intake up (I understand this can upset your stomach, too) so that you don't become ill. Hopefully, things will get better for you; many people in the comments have had better outcomes.
  8. I am 7 months post-op, and I still have major regrets about the surgery, every day, I wish I had not made this choice despite consistent weight loss. I am happy many people in the replies have moved past this phase. I hope to one day be at that point. I suggest seeing a therapist as soon as you can.
  9. Understandable, it's hard not to regret it, this has been so life-altering! I hope you are receiving the support you need.
  10. Good Afternoon you all! I had gastric sleeve done on 3/22/2021 and like the original post, I have trouble with food feeling stuck, so I will purge to clear it. Additionally, prior to surgery I never had any reflux or GERD now I have reflux, burping constantly after just one bite. When I go to restaurants with friends I typically will have to throw up in the bathroom after a few bites because the discomfort is so overwhelming. I have spoken to my doctor about this and he had been go to the hospital and get an upper GI x-ray done, and they didn't see any stricture or anything wrong. I don't know what to do, the doctor doesn't know what's wrong but I'm miserable every day. It's honestly gotten easier to just avoid eating, I just try to keep up with fluids. Sorry for venting a bit but does anyone have any suggestions? or similar experience?

  12. I went and got upper GI testing done and I was told that everything looked normal and I was healing well. My surgeon just keeps telling me everything is "normal" I am finding it hard to believe.
  13. I had my surgery on 3/22/2021 and i definitely regret it. I am hoping that I won’t feel that way as time goes on but I have been miserable since surgery. I can only keep liquids down, nothing is appealing to me anymore, I pretty much have stopped eating all together because it’s too frustrating and i just get sick anyway
