Today was supposed to be my surgery day ? Alas, still do not know what day I will be rescheduled for yet. Hopefully this month…

I made the mistake of mentioning I had swallowing issues before, so I had to do a barium swallow. All checked out; no signs of current issues. My swallowing issues is more in my upper esophagus and only specific foods (ie raw carrots) So I just avoid trigger foods.

Stupid Covid ? I was scheduled May 3 and was notified yesterday it has been canceled and they will reschedule when surgeries can resume. Really messes with your mindset when you are so close.

I was May 3. Found out yesterday postponed due to cancellation of elective surgeries in Ontario. So I’m on hold until they announce that surgeries can resume ? Hope this delay is not long, I’d like to have the surgery by the end of May.
