I am getting banded on Thursday with Dr. S. Have you filled out your health history form and turned it into the office? It seems to me that within days of them getting my paperwork they had called and scheduled my appointment with Dr. S. I am six months into the process there is a lot of testing before you will get a date. They are a great group of people. There staff will work with your insurance company to make sure everything is in place before they will proceed with testing or give you a date. Best of luck in the process. :eek:

Hi my name is Erin I am getting banded on 11-13. I just strarted two full weeks if Slim Fast and already feel like I could cave to temptation. I am down ten pounds from testing phase.`It has been a struggle. Information about me. I am 33 struggled most of my life with weight but mostly in the last 10 years have I really gained with very little success at weight loss. I am married for 9 years this May and have a beautiful son that is two. I am a registered nurse in the neonatal ICU in my home towm of Fredericksburg Virginia. I know this is the best decision I could have made for myself and my family. Looking for support from those members who have been there, done it and got the shirt :0). I will miss my boobs. Only had them since being heavy :0) Excuss to have some PS when I get healthy.

What protein supplement did you use? My Doctor wants me on liquids two weeks prior to surgury. they suggest Slim Fast but I really don't like the taste. Let me know what has worked for you. I am really looking forward to the change in my life. Best of luck.

Good Morning Everyone. I have my first visit on July 2nd with Dr. S who will be eventually performing my life saving surgury :0). I am happy to have found this site I have a lot of questions and anxiety about this entire process. I am from Spotsylvania Virginia. Good luck to you. I live in VA as well. I have my first visit with the Bariatric MD on july 2nd. Supposidly I have been approve for sugury....I hope so. Best of luck to you.
