  2. Hi, I'm a newbie. An impatient newbie at that. I have been on Adipex for 6 years. It worked initially but after my brothers death, I became an emotional eater. I picked up the 52 lbs I lost just doing diet, exercise, and adipex. My back hurts so bad and I can't afford to just lay in bed all day. I have to take care of my parents and myself. I'm a 2 time cancer survivor so I have a little bit on my plate. I'm just curious how long did you have to wait, before being scheduled for surgery. I just need a scope and to talk to the psychiatrist. I hope that being on the Adipex will count for something.
