  1. I’m having VSG this coming Wednesday. I work in retail so I’m hoping to be back to work on Monday. That may not be doable but I’ll try my best. I’m glad to hear I won’t have to make my wife do anything that will stress her out. How long were you guys in the hospital? My doctor hopes to have me out after a day. I wonder how much pain I’ll be in.
  2. Howdy folks I’m scheduled for surgery on 3/24 and was wondering how much help I’m going to need to get around? I have a 7 month pregnant wife and just want to make sure I don’t need her to overexert herself to help me. Thanks Make
  3. Hello friends. My name is Mark, 35 years old and am two weeks out from surgery. I’m really at peace with my decision to get WLS. I know it’s going to suck for a while but it will hopefully all be worth it. I’m not nervous about the procedure or what’s going to happen after I’m truly nervous because I’ve never been “skinny” or even remotely close. I was always the chubby kid ever since I can remember. I was the fat friend. Now, I’m two weeks out and know that if all goes well, I’ll be healthy. Anyone else have this same fear/anxiety? If so how do you cope with that and everyone now complementing you for your weight. Thanks all! Mark
  4. Hello all, New member, having surgery on March 24th. Nervous but excited
