I had gastric sleeve surgery almost a month ago and I am on soft bariatric foods. The biggest struggle I’ve had is learning to eat slowly! I started working on before surgery but I feel like I am still eating too fast, by the time I feel full it’s already too late and I’ve taken a bite or two too many because I ate too fast and didn’t let my body signal that I was full. Any advice on slowing down when I eat?
I had gastric sleeve surgery on September 20th and was losing weight pretty quick but it just stopped in the last few days! Is this normal? Is it going to pick up again? Has anyone else had this issue?
Did anyone have this before losing weight as well? Did it go away as you lost weight or did it stay? It’s one of my biggest insecurities that I know is a direct result of my weight, I hope it is reversible.
I had a very similar upbringing and I just wanted to say I understand everything you mentioned, I’m sorry you also had to go through that and here’s to future success for all of us here
I have this unfounded doubt in my mind that for some reason no surgery would work for me, maybe because of weight loss attempts that worked for others but not me in the past. Did anyone else feel this way before surgery? What are somethings you wish you knew BEFORE getting the sleeve surgery? Did you have any doubts before surgery and how were they resolved?
Hi everyone! This is my first post, I am having the sleeve surgery on September 20th and I am really curious about how much your tastes really change, if at all like I’ve been told. Did anybody have any changes or like things now that they didn’t before or vise versa?
