  1. Hi Everyone, how are things progressing? I'm more than half way to my goal. It's been a slow but steady loss.
  2. Thank you! I'm going to try going very low calorie (under 700) and low carb for a week but if that doesn't move things, I'll go back to all liquid. I appreciate your help!
  3. Thank you! I'll try this. I do go into food ruts a lot, eating the same things most days.
  4. I've been stuck since the "three week slump" for almost two months now. I've talked with my doctor and I'm scheduled to talk with a nutritionist next week. I eat between 800-1200 calories a day. I get plenty of protein. Getting enough fluids is challenging but I still get in at least 60 ounces a day and most days are closer to 80. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I'm not running 3 miles a day but I am active. I would really welcome any advice!
  5. Thank you, that's great advice! My surgeon didn't give me any guidance past the post-op diet plan. I think I need to find a nutritionist with experience with this surgery. Thanks again!
  6. Thank you! So far, I don't really have any non scale wins. My clothes are as tight as they were three weeks ago. Did any of your stalls last several weeks?
  7. Thank you! I've been trying to drink as much water as I can but I really appreciate your response! Fingers crossed I'll get some of those 4lb loss days soon. Thanks again!
  8. It took me about three weeks before I could comfortably sleep on my stomach. Before that I used a pregnancy pillow. Not the same quality of sleep as actually sleeping on my stomach but it helped. You'll also be so tired during those first weeks, you might not care what position you are in! Good luck!
  9. Hi Everyone, I had the sleeve done at the end of December. I lost about 25lbs those first three weeks. As of today, I have gone three weeks without losing an ounce. I get that my body probably needed a break after that initial weight loss but is this normal to go so long without losing weight, this early? I usually eat between 600-700 calories a day. I'm not super active and find I get dizzy very easily when I exercise. Did anyone else experience this? Any thing I should be doing differently? Thank you in advance.
  10. I'm getting in 60-70 ounces of water but I also find that it limits how much food i can comfortably eat or protein I can drink. The protein drinks do count towards your fluid intake.
  11. Thank you! I hadn’t seen anyone post about that, just plateaus a few months in. I really appreciate it. My doctor doesn’t offer any resources beyond telling patients what to eat those first 30 days post op, so I feel like I’ve been flying blind.
  12. I was a December sleeve. Is it ok to post here? I’m not getting any guidance from my doctor and feeling like I’m not doing things right. For the first two weeks, I lost some weight every day. As of tomorrow, it will be two weeks without losing an ounce. I rarely eat more than 600 calories a day. What am I doing wrong? I feel defeated.
