  7. Interesting. I think I have to wait on scrambled eggs until after my next doctor appt. Wow.. one tablesppon of eggs? Eeek.. If I drink my protein drink, I can feel that mostly fills me up. But, the 2 ounces of puree definitely doesn't. I guess it is a learning process.
  8. That is good that the pureed food fills you up. How many ounces at a time and per day are you allowed?

  11. I am sorry to hear that some of you are having nausea and other issues. What is weird is that I never had any nausea, throwing up or anything. I had my sleeve surgery on 2/2/2021. People keep saying that they can barely get done any of protein shakes down.. I have been able to drink the whole 8 ounces from the beginning.. I can eat the puree easily.. and I am still hungry! It is definitely not head hunger as my stomach is actually hungry.. I can feel it. My pre-op diet was 10 days, all clear liquids the day before. Nothing to eat/drink the first day until after I had the leak test the next late morning. I am allowed clear liquids, two protein shales and 4 so-called meals of 1-2 ounces of pureed protein. The only time I feel full is after each protein shake. I lost around 5 lbs in the pre-op diet and 6 lbs since the surgery as of yesterday morning. Has anyone else had these issues? Thanks!

  15. So, my Sleeve surgery was 9:45 am on 2/2/2021. Between the pre-op diet that I started 3 days early on 1/23 and this morning, I have lost 9 lbs.! Even having not pooped and holding fluid/swelling, I am down 3.6 lbs since Tuesday, 2/2. I am definitely hopeful that I will finally be able to reach a healthy weight for the first time in decades!! Best of luck to all of you, too!
  16. Which brands of shakes are you using? I am using Unjury and Nectar and are fine with both.

  19. Congrats! I had mine scheduled for 12/21 and my Doc got Covid!! So, it was rescheduled out to 2/2. Good Luck!
  20. In our state they are forcing us to wear face masks... so, if you want one that is your own and not the hospital kind, you would want to bring that.
