  1. Sounds like those so called friends need a hard look at themselves. Sounds like they are projecting their jealousy and insecurities on you. It’s hard to lose a friend but if someone can talk to you like that then they obviously don’t have you interests at heart and don’t deserve your friendship. At the end of the day you need to be your best friend and everything else will fall into place ??. Hugs
  2. Hi! So I've been off for little over a month for VSG surgery and heading back to work next week. I've told a few coworkers that I'm closer with about having surgery but majority doesn't know. Kind of nervous being put on the spot of why I've been gone for so long or why I look thinner. Has anyone else dealt with this?
  3. Currently on day 3 of clear liquids for my surgery 12/28 and feeling lightheaded and tired and also kinda worried how I’m going to be able to do this for 11 more days...one day at a time I guess! good luck to you!!!
  4. Thank you all for the wonderful tips and the encouraging words! Starting my liquid protein diet today! Two weeks until my surgery, fingers crossed!
  5. Having VSG in few weeks and getting pretty nervous... Any suggestions or tips for recovery/long term? Or things you wish you'd known going into? I keep thinking, this will be my "last" dessert or thanksgiving meal or pasta but I know that's not true, it will probably just take some time to balance those things back in and in moderation. Thanks for the support ! -Gina
