  1. I’m in Los Angeles! My surgery was initially for December 14 but it was canceled with the Covid surge.. canceled like literally a few days before I was supposed to go in ?. I was so desperate actually found a doctor in another state and almost had it there but a few days before that surgery my doctor here in Los Angeles called and said that hospitals are open again for non emergency surgeries! So I’m relieved ? my liquid diet is two weeks (according to the lady at my surgeons office)although my dietitian said to do one week. So I’m not looking forward to having to do all that again
  2. I’m so excited ? any surgery twins? Are you guys ready? Do you have to do a liquid diet?
  3. I’ll be starting mine (again) on Monday. To hold me over between shakes I found that chicken broth or tea helped sooooo much!
  4. I can’t relate since I’ve been obsessed from like 2013 (and I wasn’t even large then) I LOVE Dr Now. I do have to say it’s been more disappointing with the new episodes and people not doing what they should.. I also have seen all of the Where Are They Now? episodes and Family by The Ton.. I enjoy shows like that because they’re interesting and I can relate. Another interesting show that I’ve found on YouTube is Supeesize vs Superskinny. They don’t get WLS but it shows both sides of the coin (obesity and anorexia) which are both very unhealthy
  5. I have been attempting to get gastric sleeve surgery since last year. I was approved and due to have it December 14th....I received a call on December 11 stating my surgery was canceled due to the Covid surge here in Los Angeles (after doing EVERYTHING including liquid diet ? and paid for my surgery as well). I ended up finding a surgeon in Las Vegas who would do it and I WAS scheduled for next week (the 24th) HOWEVER Los Angeles hospitals just open back up so I’m opting to have it here with my team as originally planned! (CRAZINESS) Surgery date is now March 22nd 2021!! I can’t wait! SW/CW: 260 GW: 190 I’m 5’9
  6. Mine was canceled three days before it was to take place!! I was on the liquid diet starving for two weeks for nothing.. I took off of work and had all preop stuff done..
  7. I am “out” more than just the liquid diet. There was time & money spent and arrangements with my job which also lined up with a 3 week long winter break so I wouldn’t have to take much time off.. yes it is a delay but it’s devastating nonetheless. It’s easy to talk about it like it’s nothing when it’s not affecting you.
  8. I am devastated. I went through everything and my surgery was scheduled for tomorrow (12/14) only to have my hospital call and say I’m canceled due to Covid. They said all non emergency surgeries are canceled... I did the liquid diet and invested so much money, effort and tears only to be cut off before the finish line. I really am feeling depressed...
  9. My date is 12/14!! I picked a later date to be able to eat Thanksgiving dinner ?

I felt good that for once the dress looked just as good on me as it did on the model
