Hi Lisa, I too live in Apple Valley:smile: glad to hear someone in my town is (hopefully) going to be banded as well. Im sorry you had a bad experience at Top Surgeons, but I had quite the opposite, my seminar was very informative, all my questions were answered and the front office staff is the reason im having my surgery on July 11th, they did all the calling and scheduling for me, if you would like to talk privately just let me know. apple valley is considered "central" calif. but were actually 80 miles north of Los Angeles. I went to "pre-Op" today and was told just not to eat or drink anything after midnight the night before surgery, but after reading (for the last 3days)all these post,chats,and forum I still think im going to act as if I already have the band a week before and do the liquid diet to get use to doing liquid, as well as to find out which flavors and brands I care for most.

I just joined LBT today and very impressed on what ive seen and read. Im not sure how it all works yet, but if someone who has been there and has any advise ill surely appreciate it.
