I start my 2 week pre-op diet on the 20th. It is all liquids and two snacks (an egg or yogurt). My birthday is on the 25th. This year will be booze and cake free. I am celebrating a new me! I can't wait until Nov 3. That is the first day of my new life.

Anyone from New York state?

I am hoping to get bumped up to October so I understand wanting to just get it done! The process takes so long and by the time you get to the stage of setting a surgery date, you are ready to do this thing! I hope you get your November date. I am so excited but nervous too.

November 3 here! ?

Hey guys! I am scheduled for Nov 3 but am on a waiting list for an October slot. My surgeon is trying to work out an additional October date with the hospital. I have an October birthday so I really hope I can get in. This would be the best birthday present I could possibly give myself. I have been gaining steadily for the past 20 years and am approaching 300. My mom died last year after struggling with her health and obesity for her entire adult life. I want to honor her by taking control of my health and living more completely. I wish confidence, happiness, determination, and health for us all. Here's to good things, fall friends! ????

Today is my first day on the forum. My surgery is scheduled for Nov 3 2020 and I am looking for my surgery squad. Who out there has similar surgery dates and wants to support each other?

I did the same thing! My surgery is Nov 3 2020. Lol. I offered to be a surgery buddy about a year too late. Teach me to look at the date....always late to the party!

I am scheduled for Nov 3. I would LOVE a buddy! I have so many emotions about this that my hubby can't understand having been naturally thin all of his life.

I just got approved yesterday! My surgery is scheduled for Nov 3 but I am on a waiting list for an October date if one opens up. I am very excited. I hope your approval comes through soon. I am a bundle of nerves but more than anything, I can't wait for this new tool to help me shed the weight that has limited me for so many years.
