Good Evening all.... Ok.. Our weekend was just wonderful. We left our home about 2pm Friday and headed South. I kept trying to figure it out, but when we got off the highway in Miami... I knew. He booked a rooom in South Beach about a block from the Versace mansion. It was great. A hotel that had been in operation since 1939, but had been redone in real art deco in 1999. Even thought I was only an hour from home, I felt like I was a million miles away. Including the nude sunbathers! LOL I will catch up on personals another day... I'm exhausted. My son is in Boot Camp in San Antonio Texas. A woman went there last weekend for her sons graduation and took this picture of my son! He told her my phone number and she called me and later sent the picture email. I can't tell you how thrilled I was to get the picture and how proud I am of him. I kind of ran away from boot camp for two weeks. Hey Everyone... Good Evening! Five days of no ice cream.... :clap2: :clap2: Walked 6 miles Friday night and swam. Saturday Water Aerobics Sunday: Did that kick a** weight class at the gym and rode bike in gym for 4 miles Monday: Playing Golf. Not that I know how, but some ladies invited me to be part of their foursome... I'll let you know hows it goes Thats all folks! Thanks for keeping me motivated.... you guys rock!!!! Happy Sunday.... DH and I went to dinner today for our 13th wedding anniversary because he has to work tomorrow. I was divorced for 8 years, happy and content to spend the rest of my life ... just me and the boys. God had other plans and put John in my life and I didn't know what to do with such a spiritual, kind, compassionate, loving, caring, understanding man. He raised by boys like they were his own. I have to tell you that I love this man more than I can ever tell you. He is my 2nd husband, but in reality ....he is the only one I ever had if you know what I mean. He surprised me with a slide for my omega and he told me we are leaving on Friday for "something" but won't tell me! I am excited!!!! Here is a pictures of my necklace with the slide on it....

First let me tell you how proud I am of your accomplishments. You have done great and I would love to see pics!:confused: As stated above, families are funny! ...NOT... Mine hadn't seen me since surgery and I lost 50 lbs and attended a family party. My dad and his girlfriend said NOTHING. They later told everyone they could tell how great I looked.... GO FIGURE. You can pick your friends (which I have and they are healthy, happy, positive people who only want the best for me) but you can't pick your family! I now accept them for who they are.... took me years to come to terms with it, but I can't change them. I get emotional support from others. It is what it is!

Hey you guys in the north east.... keep your rain up there! It has rained on and off all day. That is ok. I don't mind it because we really need it. We have endanged sea turtles that come up and lay their eggs. We mark the site with a huge white steak in the sand with numbers on them saying when the eggs where layed. Also there is a yellow flag on it. So, I was sitting out on the balcony reading. These 3 kids were playing on the beach with their parents. The were ripping the steaks out and digging. My husband was yelling and I ran down there. The father was like "SO"? "And". I was sooo mad. Some of the parents have not control over there kids and don't teach them to respect anything. here is a picture I took of a turtle that was kind enough to come ashore and lay her eggs at 8 pm. Usually it is the middle of the night. Isn't she cute :biggrin1:
