It has been a little over a year since my surgury and I do not have the right sequence down for weight loss success. I have lost 36 lbs. and am a carb addict. I have not lost any weight in five months, and:confused: fear that I am malnutritioned. I have regular leg cramps and have lost some bone density. Can anyone reccomend the right vitamin (liquid) and perhaps a program to help get rid of severe carb cravings? I have a 10cc band with 5.5 fill. Also, a support group in/near San Jose, CA.

  4. How is your recovery going? What has the experience done for your weight loss?
  5. Please let me know. Good Luck to you and I am truly hoping that everything goes well for you!
  6. Hi all. I am headed for T.J. Mexico for surgury on July 21st with Dr. Ortiz. I would love to be part of the July '08 Bandsters. A little nervous but so far am impressed with the Doctor and clinic. Anyone else on this adventure as well?
  7. I had Bypass surgury in 1992 and am now scheduled for lap band surgury on 7/21. With bypass or stomach stappling your stomach does expand. Although I have not gained all of my weight back, I have gained about 50% and not too hopefull for a revision surgury. I have chosen lapband as it is minimally invasive. Both surguries change your entire life immensely. You need to be ready for the drastic change in your eating and social lifestyle. Good Luck!!
  8. My scheduled lapband surgury date is July 21 with Dr. Ortiz in Mexico. Can any of you my new friends give me any insight as to the experience with this Mexican adventure. Also, I had a previous stomach stapling surgury in 1992 which is now expanded, so therefore am back to the lapband concept. Is there anyone out there that has gone through the same type of weight loss surguries and has now been banded????
