August 22nd was my day too! I went to the doctor on Thursday 6 days after and lost 18 pds. But after the doctor I had diahrea until last night. I had my first tomato soup and today I had cream of Broc drained. It was so good. I don't have any crazy things either. I have to go back to work Tuesday. I hope I can do it. I get so tired. I have my first fill Sept 15th if I'm healed.

I just got back from my pre-op at Rex. All of my research got great feedback for Dr Enochs. I get banded next Friday the 22nd. I'm starting to get nervous.

Thanks for your success story. I get banded on August 22nd. It was just what I needed.

I think I'll start the week before. I can't wait. I'm sooo excited for all of us. We should keep in touch on our progress. How long are you guys taking off from work. I'm going back on the 2nd of Sept. I had to use vacation days anyway.

I just went yesterday and saw my surgeon. He said 1 time a month for the first 6 mos.

I get banded on August 22nd also... Can't wait. I only have to be on liquids the day before. I know what you mean about last dinners.

I'm having the lapband Aug 22nd. I also have a hernia that was found during my testing. My surgeon just said he would put in a couple of stitches while he was in there and it was no big deal.

I got to see Tammy last Friday the 11th. I've got everything done. Just waiting on my appoval and date. Can't wait.

I working on getting my approval. I'm diabetic also. Do you still take your meds. I'm on Lantus and Actos. I want off the Lantus as I have gained since starting it. My A1C is 6.5 with all the meds.

Do we have more than 1 apt with the Psych?? I also see Dr E Tuesday. I'll have the psyc visit this Friday. It is so exciting to think that I could have my date soon.

I meet with Dr Enochs July 8th, I've had my labs, EKG, UGI and chest x-ray. I meet with the Dietician July 8th and have the Psyc eval July 11th. I have BCBS of NC. My questions are; What kind of Pre-Op diet does Dr E put you on? How long does it take to get your approval and surgery date?
