  3. Hi! I have surgery on the 10th of this month and I am prepping all my things to do before hand so I'm fully prepared. One of my main concern is starting to work out again. I haven't been to the gym in over 5 years and I won't lie, I miss it! I just want to know when it's safe to start hitting the gym and when is it recommended to start lifting weights? I want to lose all this weight first but also gain muscle. Any tips?
  4. omg yes! I AM NOT ALONE lol On my second day of my 2 week liquid diet. I had to go to a dinner in the city and could not cancel. I wanted to be the designated driver so I made sure I didn't have anything to drink and I just ended up eating a sushi roll. I honestly felt like **** because I was still sooooo hungry and all my girls ended up ordering an insane amount of food and Im just sitting there with an empty plate that I devoured in less than 5 min. After that day I stuck to the diet soooo well because my surgeon literally told me that if he ended up doing the surgery and saw that my liver hasn't shrunk from the liquid diet, that he wouldn't continue. So that's honestly what's keeping me going. Don't let this little hiccup mess you up for the rest of the journey. YOU GOT THIS!
  5. HI ALL!!!! My date is Sept 10th and I AM SO EXCITED. Just had a question maybe one of you can help me out with. My surgeon put me on a liquid diet for the past 2 weeks and I gotta say, the first 3 days were sooooo hard because of no coffee. Ive literally been having 3 protein shakes and chicken broth everyday. Soooo freaking tired of it...But they mentioned I can have sugar free popsicles. I haven't been able to find them in any grocery stores near me but there's an ice cream shop down my street that has no sugar added water ice sorbet. Now my questions is.....What is the difference between "sugar free" and "no sugar added" & can I have this sorbet lol
